King of Glory Faith |
We are a Christian congregation who believes that God loves the world. We experience this through the Trinity: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The lessons of Jesus, which are revealed to us in the Bible, teach us how to live and serve one another. We are all imperfect human beings who make mistakes, and we do not always follow this mission. But God forgives us, and sends us out into the world again to share grace with everyone that we meet.
King of Glory Church has its roots in the Lutheran tradition. Martin Luther, and the other reformers, divided from the Catholic church 500 years ago. The denomination has a strong focus on grace, which we still follow today. We are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, which you can learn more about here.
We welcome and promote diversity. We believe that all people are formed with care by God and that we are called to see one another as family. Whoever you may be, you are welcome in the congregation.

Service is a core focus for King of Glory. We are called to care for one another as well as the wider world. At any given time, there are normally several service projects happening in the congregation. These include preparing meals for the hungry in our community, collecting items for a local food pantry, and hosting a number of AA groups. We believe that, guided by God, we can make a difference.
